Description
Topic: What's Next for XGD: Data, Sensors, Devices
Technology is rapidly changing the way people connect to place. Big data analytics are shaping the way cities, property owners, and vendors are responding to their user behaviors. Localized sensors are pushing relevant contextual information to users in both commercial and public space. A wave of wearable devices are emerging into the marketplace, diversifying the way people interface with information and the places around them.
What do these three elements represent for the future of XGD (experiential graphic design)? How are designers responding to this additional layer of technology woven into our digital-physical world? How will you respond to your client’s request for integrating immersive technology into your projects now and in the future?
